Great prices! Our prices are very competitive and well below retail! Our objective is not to make a ton of money, but to make sure you get the right aquarium stuff you need at a good price. When you buy from us, you support us! We use the money earned in our store to pay for our
web site. We use the same mark-up on every product we sell. Our prices on many products we sell are among the lowest you'll find anywhere!
Our staff are all aquarium pros! Who would you rather buy from, a store that knows little about what they sell or aquarists like you that have to use the products they sell every day? Unlike those huge mail-order and internet businesses who employ salespeople who've never even owned an aquarium, we
are professional aquarists and can give you the proper advice before you make a purchase. Just e-mail us with your questions about our products and we'll be glad to help. Your fish and invertebrates are important to us and they deserve the best!
Secure Online Shopping! Our online credit card transaction server uses only the highest level of encryption for your security. When you click on the "check out" button in your shopping cart, your browser is re-directed to a separate UNIX server that is dedicated to providing only 128 bit secure socket
layer (SSL) service. While we offer other options for you to order our products and services, we recommend using our secure online site to place your orders. We value your privacy and we do not share or sell your personal information with anyone!
Unlike most of our competitors, we do not profit from shipping charges! Our online storefront system uses the official shipping calculators supplied by our shipping vendors, to ensure you will only pay what you need to for shipping. We charge you only what we pay, plus a small handling charge to pay for the
time and materials to pack your order. We use mostly recycled and biodegradable materials (except for bubble wrap) to pack our orders and we try not to use plastic peanuts or other materials that damage the environment.
We offer many shipping options for your convenience. Choose from several options offered by Airborne Express, Federal Express, United Parcel Service and The United States Postal Service.
We don't just sell any old products! We don't sell every product available. We only sell what we know and trust. The products we sell online are the same products we have used successfully for years on our aquariums and our client's aquariums. We're in
the aquarium maintenance business. We can't sell something to one of our clients and then not back it up. We wouldn't just lose a sale - we would lose the client, and our livelihood. If we're happy with it, we know you'll be happy!
We test everything we sell on our aquariums! We don't take the manufacturer's word on the quality of their products. Every product we sell has been tested by The Aquarium Professionals Group. If our fish won't eat a certain food, we don't sell it. If it doesn't last on our tanks, or it doesn't work the way
it's supposed to, it goes in the garbage and we never buy it again. We know some equipment will get a little abuse. We purposely run water pumps dry to see how long it takes them to seize. We run gravel through filters and pumps to see if impellors hold up. We tested it so you don't have to take the risk!
Years of experience! More than twenty-five years of aquarium experience are at your command. We've been there and we've made our share of mistakes. When we sell a product and think you can benefit from a few tips on its use, we'll e-mail you to let you know. Some excellent aquarium equipment doesn't come with great
instructions (We swear that some of these companies use engineers to write that stuff in Technicalese!). If the product you buy from us doesn't provide good instructions, we'll e-mail you the "translated" version.
We stand behind the products we sell! We want you to be happy with the products we sell. Customer satisfaction is our primary goal and that's why we know you'll come back and order from us again. We ask that before you buy, you carefully read our
return and refund policies. We're sure you'll agree that they're both fair and competitive.
Advice before the sale! Why guess? If you're interested in one of our products or services, you can contact us for advice and details via e-mail, fax or telephone. We'll be happy to guide you with sizes and recommendations.
We provide details on every product we sell on our online storefront, but if that's not enough, just ask! We're in the aquarium business and we know that sometimes making the right choice is difficult. We're not "order-takers". We're hobbyists just like you and we're happy to help you.
Support after the sale! Why get stressed? Has this ever happened to you? You buy a complex and expensive piece of aquarium equipment from an online store or mail-order business, and you can't get the darn thing to work right. So you call the place where you bought it and
get put on hold; or you e-mail them and get no reply until you threaten to sue. Some businesses even charge for so-called tech support before the product's even working! We'll work with you for free until it works.
