I am trying to start a reef aquarium. I have a skimmer. Do I need a filter as well?
Hi Nikolaos,
A sump system is a good start if you have the room. Canister filters and power heads are good if you have limited space. The live rock is actually one of the most important filters in reef aquariums. The other filters most important funtion is to maily remove particles and
circulate the water.
