You can try some of the less aggressive Central and South American cichlids and catfish. Absolutely no discus.

Can I add a baby largemouth bass with my goldfish?
If you have a large enough tank, it is possible. Goldfish are cyprinids and part of the carp family. As your bass increases in size, it will start to view the goldfish as potential food.

I have a 42 gallon tank and would like to buy about 5 or 6 neon tetras, an algae eater, and a few cichilds. Will this combination work?
No. The cichlids will kill the tetras.

What kind of sharks make good tankmates?
Unless you have an extremely large tank in the 1,000+ range, we do not recommend keeping sharks.

I have a fantail telescopic-eyed goldfish and a black moor. The fantail seems to be chewing on the black moor's tail. Should I send him back or will they sort themselves out?
If you have the room, you could introduce 2-3 fish at a time to disperse aggression. You could also remove both fish and introduce them at a later date with another fish so that they can re-establish territories.

The safe rule has been an inch of fish per gallon of water.

I have an 18 gallon high planted tank with 6 tiger barbs, 1 spiny eel, 1 small pictus catfish, and 1 Chinese algae eater. Is that too many fish for that tank?
You should be fine. The planted environment helps.

I have a 10 gallon freshwater tank with 3 comets and 1 dojo loach. I have another tank with 1 comet and 1 black moor and I was wondering if it would be possible to transfer the fish into my new tank.
I wouldn't add anymore fish to your 10 gallon. You might find in the future that your current fish will outgrow the 10 gallon.

can i keep dwarf or lace(pearl) gouramis with Tiger barbs and a red tailed black shark?
No you cannot keep a Pearl Gourami (which is a community fish) with those species. The Tiger Barbs are fin nippers and the Red Tailed Black Shark is a very aggressive fish.
