  • I have a 75 gallon tank with tropical fish. What temperture should i keep my tank at?

Last time for this one. Please search the database before submitting a question. The answer is 76 degrees F. to 80 degrees F. but no matter where it is, the temperature should remain constant.

  • I live in Austin, Texas and in the process of building an outdoor pond(6"x12"x2") and want to have oscars instead of koi. Will they survive year round?

The lowest temperatures in Austin still reach the 30's so housing oscars in a 2" pond in the middle of winter will not be possible, even with a large heating element.
