Hi,
Just a few days ago I bought some new gravel, so I did a complete gravel change: taking out the fishes, plants, and everything else. So the only thing that I have left in there is water. So I did the gravel change and put back the fish. Is anything going to happen to my water qualilty now? Did this gravel change affects the fitration in my tanks? I am running Rena Filstar XP2 canister filter on a 30 gallon tank. I just bought the filter a few days ago too. I bought some used ceramic rings with bacterias on them already. Are these used rings better than the new ones? Do I need anything else other than the canister filter and an UGF?
