I am assuming that you ar talking about angelfish so what I will be talking about refers to them mostly. Between spawnings do you clean the tank(s) completely? Are you trying parent raise or raise away frm the parents? If you are trying to raise away from the parents then you should have a small tank such as a 2&1/2 gallon tank that you can put meth-blu and/or acrafavin in. You should use water from the breeding tank to transfer to the hatching/raising tank and put in the meth-blu and/or acrafavin at the recomended rate. The eggs should hatch in 2 to 3 days depending on temp, the warmer the tepm the faster they will hatch as long as you do not poach them with too high a temp. 80 to 82 degrees should be fine. Once the eggs have hatched and become free swimming then you will need to start water changes by syphoning the bottom with a small hose such as an airline hose. A 50% water change with water that is the same (or slightly warmer) and the same ph will go a long ways if done on a daily basis.
Another method involves using the"shoebox method" (I havenot personally used it yet)where by a plastic container about the size of a shoebox is floated in the tank by having styrofoam around the edges. But first you must make it so that water can flow through the box. You can do this by cutting a hole or two near the botton or on the botton and glueing some fiberglass screening (such is on a screen door)using aquaium grade sealer or glue applied to the outside of the box. Next is how to provide water going into the box and that is by a sponge filter with a bend at the top to hook over the box and spilling the filtered water in to the box and the water flowing from that end to the end with the screening. By doing this you do not have to syphon in the shoebox and can therefor use a larger hose (quicker) to syphon the bottom of the larger tank(that they are floating in)
