what is the minimum size tank that i could fit one discus in? :confused:

For one didcus I would not use anything less than a 20 gallon tank but larger would be better. If you are like most other aquarist you will probably want to put other fish in with the discus. This may not be a good idea unless you put other fish that need the same water requirements that the discus needs. The larger tanks will remain more stable (tep pH. etc. ) bett3er than a smaller one and therefore will not stress the fish as much as a smaller tank and the less you stress a fish (or other animal) the less you will lower their resistance to diseases.

A rule of thumb, is 8 to 10 gallons of water for each full grown discus. Discus are considered schooling fish, so most people have at least 2.
