interesting angel fish story

Hey there i got a interesting angel fish story for you,

My friend recently bought a mature angel fish from a store. He brought the angel fish home and properly put it in his tank. Now when he awoke the next morning many of his oscars were dead!! As he looked on he seen that the new angel fish was actually chasing another large angel fish around the fish tank.

Contrary to popular belief angel fish are not good community fish for the most part and should not be trusted!

I think this is a fishy story. I guess anything is possible, but it is also possible that something else killed the oscars. The angelfish chasing another angelfish is likely. That the oscars were killed by him is unlikely. What else was going on in that tank?

What size oscars did he have, just small fry? If so then it is likely the angelfish could have killed the young oscars. The angelfish is a cichlid like the oscar and in as much they can sometimes be a real bully in the tank and even kill other fish. Just remember not all fish (incuding the angelfish) have read the same books that you and I have reguarding what they should behave like in an aquarium. :eek:

The oscars were of average size. Not big but certainly not small! But ya it was one mean angel fish!

POOR OSCARS! He killed them all!
