What a great place for helpful information!
For anyone intrested I posted here back in March about an algal bloom in my 75gal. tank and asked for help in bringing this situation under control. Results are that after covering the aquarium for almost 8 weeks with a blanket, the water is no longer green! The light deprivation worked. I just uncovered yesterday, did water change and filter pad change. The water is still not clear however. I am careful not to overfeed, have artificial plants, so what gives? Any suggestions now about improving clarity?
