i do water changes ,water fine nice and clear, but smells bad,ph good all fish happy what,s wrong

First of all, we need a little more information...

- Does it have a fishy smell or like rotten eggs? If it's a fishy smell, then you may be overfeeding. Unfortunately, I just blanked out on what the rotten egg smell could mean, but I'll post it once I remember.

- How often do you perform a gravel cleaning and water change? How much water is removed?

- What size tank?

- What type of filtration do you have?

- What is the ammonia and nitrITE levels?

A rotten egg smell would come from Hydrogen Sulfide. Fortunatly, you can smell this long before it becomes lethal to the fish. This comes from dead spots in the gravel, so make sure you do regular gravel vacuuming.
