Okay, so I have a red and white fantail goldfish and when I got him, he was fine. But all of a sudden he just sits at the bottom of the tank near the fake plant. I mean, he is still breathing and is okay, but he doesn't swim with much enthusiasm like the rest of my fish do. When I looked at him more closley, his right fin looks as if it had been ripped off in a fight. I know the fin can grow back but he's not eating. What should I do? Oh and if you need more info, it's in my profile. Thanks.

Here's a picture of him and his ripped fin...

AND ...OMG. Does he have mouth fungus? What should I do?

So, I think I'm going to Petco and buying his medicine...fungus medicine...Please reply quickly...someone who ACTUALLY knows this... I'm afraid he might die...*sobs*

Did you happen to find out what was wrong with you goldfish? I just had a goldfish die with the same symptoms you described and was wondering if yours is doing better.

Meh. My fish died two days ago. Did you buy the medicines against mouth fungus? You should. And some Stress Coat. He lived much longer with those two...but he eventually died because the fungus was spreading out so fast. Hope that helps.
