My sunburst platy and fancy guppy had fry about the same time. The problem is that they all seem to be female. I learned how to sex both platies and guppies. They are both livebearers and the males have gonopodiums and the females do not. I know the female guppies have the gravid spot. These are the signs that kind of gave me a hint that they were all female. The fry are over a month old. Is it to soon to sex them. I'm trying to breed them, so is it my bad luck that they all came out female. Will this continue, or may I get males next time around? Is this due to temp. or water quality ?
