this might be a silly question but i was wondering what live food i could feed my two 3 1/2" pictus? I wanted to give them something to hunt if that makes sense?

I'm planning on having a school of lemon tetra's soon, i've heard the opinon that giving pictus live food might encourage them to eat the other smaller fish, has anyone had any experience of keeping these two together on live food?

Thanks, all comments welcomed

The general rule is...if it can fit it in it's mouth, then it will. Pictus cats will normally eat anything and will gorge itself, so you must be careful not to overfeed them.

Pictus will normally eat fry or even smaller fish when they reach adult size, which is close to 5".
