What size of a tank to I need to let the fry grow enough to be sold?
What size tank are they in now? My platy has about 14 new-born fry and they are in a 10 gallon with the other fish. If they are in a good size tank then you can leave them there and they will grow fine. the mother will not eat the fry 2 days after they are born because of a hormone her organs release. That does'nt go for any other fish in there though. And 1 more thing they need a good place to hide. I have a bunch of plastic plants that mine hide in. Also if you want to feed them then crush some flake and put it in the tank. The fry and adults will eat it.
Good Luck

For 14 baby platies to grow to full size i would suggest a 10gal but only if they are the only ones in it. Otherwise a 20gal or bigger would be the best. Good Luck!:D
I don't still have 14. Of those 14, I now have 4 to big to eat platy's. I used to let my betta eat them(he loved them) but he died like a week ago. If the # gets too big I will guve some to my little brothers "cycled" ten gallon or the lfs. He also has a betta.
