I have 3 gold barbs, 3 tiger barbs and a male platy in a 20 gallon tank and they have some sickness. The gold barbs are the only ones showing it and it looks like they are missing 4 or 5 scales. The "issue" has claimed 2 tiger barbs already and I want to get rid of it before they all dye, and I have doubts that I am going to put 7 sick fish in my new 45 gallon. Any ideas what it could be? the water is fine with ammonia and nitrites at 0ppm and the ph is steady at 7.2 the water is hard but that has not caused any issue yet. Thanks :HP :HP :HP :SK

if you want to be sure, pick up the tank buddies or something.
one for parasites, and one for fungus. they are 4 bucks at petco and not sure youur lfs. If you believe you have something run them through this, remove your charcoal before using.
sounded like you were overstocked before which never helps
20 gallons isnt much water to play with.

I was overstocked SLIGHTLY. none of the fish were over 2 inches and now all I have are the 3 two inch goldbarbs, the 2 albino tigerbarbs and the male platy. Can I run both tank buddies at once or do I have to run one then the other?
