Ihave a 20 gal high tank that's been set up for about 3 months with 40watts of light which are left on 10 hours a day, DIY Co2 injection, 1" bottom layer of peat moss with 2" layer of gravel on top and a small in tank filter. I do a 25% water change once a week and add 2mL of Seachem Flourish fertilizer, I also supplement in between water changes with 3mL of Tetra FloraPride. My pH is abour 6.5, low nitrates and no ammonia, slightly hard water and high alkilinity. My planting consists of two medium amazon swords, one Echinodorus parviflorus, one Crypt wendtii bronze, java moss and one java fern attatched to some driftwood. All my plants seem to be doing quiet well except for the java fern. Most of it appears to be healthy, for some reason though towards the end of the new and old leaves the tips are turning slightly yellow and the very tips look transparent. Ive looked everywhere and cant find any information on this. Any ideas out there would be greatly appreciated.
