Big Budda my brutha - wassup?

I think that's a good article. I agree with it. Of course, growing your own plants adds a bit to the "satisfaction" of aquaria - but they also add to the headache.

I keep anacharis (lots of it) in my goldfish tank to handle the nitrates and that works out good for me. But the stuff is always coming undone and they frequently flake off a leaf here and there and that's unsightly.

Also, the "sweat" factor goes up for me when adding a live plant to my tank. You never know what kind of parasites are on them and to be safe - you have to go through the "bath" procedure which is a real hassle and can kill the plant if you aren't careful.

I'm keeping as many plant's as i can and will buy some Anubis. Am holding off on the silk right now.

i love my plants, i am just lazy about cleaning the salad up heh i will buy a couple of bright light silks later. its a fact that real plants are much better then silk and algae.

i think i am buying a 4 different Anubis, spread that around. I'm growing a wisteria border along the back of the tank. Its a bottom dweller tank, with a few neon's.

I would never want huge amounts of plants anyway, when own loaches and you know you need room to so the boys can go check out stuff.

OH,OH i forgot, my full grown SAE thinks he is a clown loach. He eats with them, sleeps with them, schools with them and he even checks out snails!!

its a trip. I am so happy to be enjoying my tank. Thanks gang for telling me the plain truth and caring so much. thanks for putting up with my mistakes.

Sorry yall i am in mania mode so i am going about 150 MPH sitting still. I will try harder to be correct and very aware of what I'm doing. :D
