What is the maximum flow rate for a 90 gal tank, (in gph)?

I'm not sure what you're asking.
Some freshwater fish like faster currents than others. I would need to know what fish you have or plan on stocking your tank with if that is what you're asking.
If you want to know equipment maximum, I would have to know what equipment you have or are planning on getting.
If you will be more specific, I will try to give you a better answer.

I have a 90 gallon tank with wet/dry sump, my return pump has died. It was a quiet one, I don't want another one of those.
I have about 50 lbs. of lace rock. My fish are all tanganyikan,
6 tropheus moorrii, 6 neolamprologas caudopunctus and a synadontis. I want to know the flow rate for purchasing info
on a new, better pump. Is it better to have more water exchange cycles? I'm not sure. Can I use a pump that pumps 1140 gph,
or should I stay around 600 gph?
