I have a 90 gallon tank with wet/dry sump, my return pump has died. It was a quiet one, I don't want another one of those.
I have about 50 lbs. of lace rock. My fish are all tanganyikan,
6 tropheus moorrii, 6 neolamprologas caudopunctus and a synadontis. I want to know the flow rate for purchasing info
on a new, better pump. Is it better to have more water exchange cycles? I'm not sure. Can I use a pump that pumps 1140 gph, or should I stay around 600 gph?

Thanks, Eric

The fish that you have come from the "rocky shores of Lake Tanganyika". Usually the current is not very fast along the shore. I would stay with you 600 gph. IMO
