a few questions

i know i could do some searching with google, but i thought i might just try aquarium pros....ok...here it goes...i have two questions....are piranhas legal in the usa....(california)...and..what is the difference between chlorine and chloramine??

I do not believe pirhanas are legal in California and chloramine is just chlorine mixed with ammonia so it doesn't evaporate as quickly as normal chlorine would (which is a problem for aquariums). Also, more towns are using chloramines now because it is cheaper. I'll find that thread on pirhanas. It had a map of where they are and aren't legal.
