Funny looking Egg things

I am a new keeper and i have had my tank set up for 2 weeks now today i have been looking in my tank and saw some strange looking fur on my bog wood the i saw some round egg like brown things on the wood i have 8 fish : 6 neon tetras and 2 guppys
and if im right guppys give birth and neons never lay eggs in tanks so wot are they if you want pics e_mail me so you get a better picture of the things

Fisrt off welcome to the Board. Glad to have you. I got your PM and thought I would awnser here so everyone could benifit.
And yes guppies will give birth to live syblings. Neons are egg layers but as stated very uncommen in the home aquarium as far as reproduction.

Is there any sanils in the tank?? You can upload a pic on this thread in the reply section see if you can get us one I'm sure one of us will come up with a good ID. HTH

i have no snails in there they are a kinda brownish orangey colour i got 1 out with the net and they are soft. i will try to get a pic yp soon as pos
