i just got 6 neon tetras in my 10 gallon tank. i also got a crowntail betta and a small betta container for it. and he wont eat either. i got two corys for the tank(at the same time as the neons) and they wont eat either. i have tried catfish pellets, which my bigger catfish loves, to granules to flake food. i am really worried :( and like my new fish. all your help is appreciated

How long ago did you put them in? some fish take a couple of days to settle before they resume their normal feeding patterns. Are the established fish feeding normally? Assuming that your water conditions are ok and the established inmates are eating normally then it could be that they are taking time to adjust if your water conditions are different to where you bought them from.
When I notice this I usually don't feed for a day, measure all the water parameters to make sure that there isn't anything else that could be stressing them out and give them live food -artemia or mosquito larvae is a favourite. when I'm putting new fish in I always feed with live food emmediately afterwards, it seems to help with settling in. Apart from not eating, are they showing any other behaviour? are the fins up, colours ok? any erratic behaviour?

Did you cycle the tank first? I seem to recall you posted on another thread that you just got a 10 gallon.

yup but i think my guppy was stressing them out. he was chasing them around, especially the small ones. so i put him in another tank. theyre doing a lot better now and eating.
