Howdy All!

I recently purchased and installed an Aqua Medic Turboflotor 1000 Multi on the sump of my 125 gallon.

Initially about 75% of the mixing chamber was filled with air and water. According to the Aqua Medic operation manual this is the ideal level, and it was generating a nice, dry foam. However, after stopping and restarting the pump, the water level now rises to fill 100% of the mixing chamber (creating a wet foam). Despite attempting a few options -- including completely removing both "flow control taps" -- the water level stays at 100%.

I have read several posts that say that water at the 100% level is fine...however, I am not interested in this option, and would much rather lower the level and produce the "dryer" foam. Accordingly, please don't reply if you are going to say that the 100% level is fine. :)

However, if there are any Turboflotor 1000 Multi users out there who have experience solving this same "problem", please let me know. Thanks!

Tom
