I have a bunch of gravel that I'm removing because it makes the ph go up as high as 8.2. It has lots of trumpet snails and maybe a few ramshorns, but no pond snails in it. If anyone is starting an African cichlid or otherwise higher ph tank and lives in or near eastern upstate NY, they can have it.
