I am building a wall bubbler for my wife. The unit will be 4' x 4" x 5' and will be lite from the base. My question is what type of sending unit should I buy to make the bubbles. I will be using sandstone as the medium for the unit. I know I can connect the sandstone to make it fit my tank but will what unit will supply bubbles to the top?

this is only my thinking, i have never tried it.
two air pumps one on each side or a strong one and run a pvc water line along the bottom with holes drilled into it.
if you could get enough pressure in the pvc it should work fine.
Like i said that would be completely wrong i just have been toying with the idea myself.
the trick is getting the holes spaces so you get the effect your looking for.
hope it gives you ideas
good luck and post a pic once you figure it out.
