:FS Hy. Been away for a while, I moved to a place that had no internet connection, terrible, not fun, finally I moved to Redondo.......now I got internet!!!!!
Cool...just got it in working today...... :)

Welcome back dude! I saw your post yesterday, but I was at home with a sick child and didn't have a chance to respond. I'm glad you're back. I meant to respond to your last email and I kept forgetting. Great to see you again!!!!

I've almost, ALMOST got the 55 up and running. All I need is the PC lights and I will probably order them next week. Then I will plant it and fill it and see if I can get it to quick cycle with some crap from the 29. After all that, the fish are last. Yes, I plan to get some blue tetras , some angel fish, and some rams, and probably an exoctic pleco. I'm hoping it will be a sweet tank.

Excelent, it will be a nice tank. My big tank also had to wait because I knew I had to move after the internet fiasco. But my small 5 gal kept me going,w a female Betta, yes, unussual huh?? female Betta....at the time I got the tank, I was going to get a colorfull male Betta, but a friend told me she got this ugly Betta, colorless and dull....I went by to see it, and, yes, it was no ugly nor colorless, just a female Betta, so I rescued it, and now she is my companion....she is cool....so I baptized her "Kwel" :)
Kwel has a small tank, but seems fine for her, and it has all the technicall advantages any century 21st betta expects in a home....filtered waters with a filter system....heater system w thermostat....fluorecent lamp....she is a happy camper.

Hello friends. Feels good to be back, I love aquariums and fish. I have been busy studying and since I could not set up my tank because I am not living in my own place ( roommates) untill I take the state exam in february...( :mad: landlord does not allow tanks in there) I was saddened and also a little upset. All my equipment is awaiting february, when I take the test, and, voila....finally I will take the leap. While I study, I could not get a place on my own..... life....
Passed that exam....me and my fish will be the happiest crowd :)

( it hurts to see my tank empty...to ease my feelings, I am keeping a manthis pet. She is wild, I never knew how predatory manthises are.. :eek: )

Yes, I fell off the face of the Earth, but I held on for life to the edge, and I climbed up again!! :)

How is your tank doing?? I remember the nice fish you got, it was the ......the flat one.....can not remember the name......I have to wake up to my fish world.

last night, on my way home , I stopped by the local aquarium / fish store, those guys know me already, always passing by, staying for an hour...looking at the tanks......not buying fish yet :( I know I will soon, I want to set my tank in a place where it will thrive, that thought keeps my spirits high.

My Betta tank, I donated it to a friends daughter, she once came to visit and was so enchanted with the fish, that I gave it to her for her B day. I realized it was better to give her my little tank all settled than risking her loosing a new fish. Her parents promissed me they will supervise the tank, and so far they are doing a great job.

Hello everyone, my name is Gerald, I am digby73 and Iive in the Pjilippines I am an expat from UK.

I have two tanks one is 96x30x15 and the other is 32x15x20. in the big one I have 5 discus, 6 tinfoils, 6 angels, 6 corydoras, 2 sailfin plecos. 2 silver dollars, live plants and plastic, and all doing fine. In the small tank I have about 20 tiger barbs, 6 rosy barbs, three zebra danios and two small black ghosts that will be transfered later to a seperate tank.
