Diaz Rock and Pet Supply (http://www.diazrock.com/) is a good source to buy aquarium gravel.
I started using Red Flint #20 (Larger than sand, smaller than common aquarium gravel) for my aquarium, which looks like this...

I recently purchased (2) 25 pound bagsof Splish Splash gravel (Distributed by Diaz Rock and Pet Supply) @ about $37.00 (USD). After doing some research, I found that the distributer is local. I visited the store and bought 100 pound bag of the same gravel for about $27.00. I returned the (2) 25 pound bags of gravel I bought at another LFS.
