Altum Angelfish aka. Tall Angel
Pterophyllum altum
Origin: Venezula
Max Size: 7 inches long, up to 15 inches tall
Min Tank Size: 55 gallons
Temperature: 75-82 degrees F
Temperment: Are to be kept in large numbers in large tanks, or in pairs. Some medium and large tetras are good tankmates. Small fish are quickly eaten.
Food: mainly carnivorous, but will accept some vegtable matter, not pellets.
Experience: Not a good beginner fish, even as an introduction to cichlids. Is far more delicate than other angels.
