3. Minimum tank size: 10 gallons
4. Temprature: 68-79 deg. F
5. pH/gH: 6.0-8.0; 5-19 dH
6. Temperament: peaceful
7. Single or group?: group of 2 or more
8. Food: herbivore; will sometimes eat shrimp pellets though
9. Not for beginners; should be added to a cycled tank; planted tanks seem to be better than unplanted in regards to their survival; algae must be readily available, but will most times take algae wafers and sometimes shrimp pellets.
