Majestic Angel
AKA--Blue Girdled Angelfish
(Euxiphipops navarchus)

1.How Big?
This angel grows to around 8-10 inches in the aquarium which puts it larger than pygmy's, but slightly smaller than most of the full sized angels.
2.Tank Size?
100-125gal min.
3. Temprature
78-81 degrees
4. Temprament
Peaceful & Shy,but can be aggressive to other Large Angels
5. single or group?
Single unless in very,very large tank.
6. Food?
(Bold feeder)Lots of algae, flakes, brine shrimp,mysis shrimp, meaty foods
7. Not really a beginner fish due to the $80-$250 price tag, but majestics are hardy.
The juvenile form of the Majestic angel is a dark blue or black with multiple vertical white stripes. As an adult the Majestic angels sheds it stripes and the base body color changes to a deep orange with small blue spots, and rich blue areas on the head and caudual areas.
