Bubble Tip Puree

:HP We had a recent problem with our bubble tip anemone. He got sucked into our powerhead and shot out into the aquarium which made the water brown and smelly. we changed the water about 15 gallons out of a 65 gallon cleaned the powerhead, but what else do you do will it harm the other fish... Please help... and how can you prevent this from happening

Ouch, sorry to hear about your BTA. To keep this from happening in the future attach a prefilter sponge to the powerhead.

Do your fish seem stressed by this at all? Can you still see the "pieces" floating around in the tank?

Are you currently running a protein skimmer on the tank?

I had that happen to a Rose anemone a few years ago, but with just a few tips not the whole anemone. I found that i just had to keep moving the pump
