as a substrate, and it works amazingly!!! I just would like to know for reference, how often should i be adding more to it, because i noticed that a lot of it is sucked up through the gravel vac. Also, what is an efficient way to gravel vac to avoid my plants, because I always seem to break a plant, or screw something up, how do i gravel vac near plants and avoid causing damage to the roots?
