I have not seen glass tanks with built-in wet/dry filters inside the tank whereas it is common with acrylic tanks. Is it because glass is more difficult to work with ? Are you aware of on-line stores that carry glass tanks with built in wet dry systems? Thanks

A couple of thoughts behind this;

Glass aquariums are silicone sealed at its sides and require a frame to hold it's basic shape in place. Adding components for a wetdry filter requires additional materials and framing. While not entirely impossible, it would be difficult and/or time consuming to manufacture.

Some glass tank manufacturers provide overflow boxes to a glass sump, but not a built in wet/dry, a-la the Tru-Vu Aquaplex systems.

I assume if one wanted one bad enough, they could contact the manufacturer like oceanic or All Glass Aquariums.
