Does anyone have any experience with Terebellid Worms? That is what I think I have in my reef. They just came out of nowhere about a month ago and I have been trying to figure out what they were. At first site I thought it what algae growing but after closer inspection I realized they were tentacles. When something touches them, they shoot back towards the center. There are about 10-15 tentacles yellowish-orange with faint black stripes on the. They are also 1cm to 3cm long and no thicker than a thin strand of hair.

I tried taking a picture of them but they are not showing up (my camera is not that good.)

Any advice (are they good/bad)? Am I way off base in what I think they are?

A blenny might get them.

Thanks tjigger. They seem to be slowly going away and don't seem to be harming anything. I think i have seen a few of them crawing around when i move a rock or two. They are a bright orange with a little bit of blue and look like centipedes. I still can not confirm if they are terebellid worms though.
