Blue ram tailfin??

Hi i awoke this morning to find one of my rams had his tailfin chewed off i moved into the hospital tank my question is i have melafix and treated him but is there anything else i can do??

You need to find out what caused the tail fin to be chewed of. If it was another fish then I would not put the ram back in with that fish but if it were tail an fin rot you need to make sure that the water conditions are put back right, more water changes , better feeding, maybe water temp or pH is not right. If it is tail and fisn rot then something is stressing the fish and if you put it back in without changing what is wrong then the fish will go through the same thing.
