Reverse Osmosis for a Renter

Hey all you experienced aquarists. I am just getting started in saltwater and need to handle the issue of reverse osmosis water, the only problem is that the Phoenix area is expensive to live in, so I have to rent n apartment, even though I make decent money. So getting a full blown under sink system isn't an option for me. Does anyone know of a good alternative? Are the countertop systems just as good? Let me know, I'm dying to get my tank cycled!

many companys have a adapter that fits on the tube that lets you screw it into any sink & drain into a bathtub.
