I envy you in that when I finally get my fish room set up I will only have about 300 gallons of water, mostly 20 longs, and several 15 and 10 gallon tans that are drilled for central filtration systems (I am not sure if I will have two or three s systems). I also have a 150 that I hope to breed Altum angelfish in (no I do not have the Al tums yet) I have been having a cash flow problem, more cash wants to flow out than in).

Sounds like an impressive plan!
One thing to think about
that being with a filtration system like that - if one tank gets something like ick - you have to treat the whole system!
that is something that would stress me out
I am getting ready to do a MAJOR change in how everything is going to be.
I just got rid of a bunch of fish (they are going to be picked up in a day or two)
I'm shutting down the FW 56 gal - the wolf cichlids are going to be gone ...
and when I get the one 90 on line as a FOWLR tank then the 210 will be going reef! :D
(I'm lucky - got a good friend who own a LFS and will sell me thing from the reef display tanks!)
I gotta say .... THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT - where's the check for part of my 210's reef light?

Having a central filtration system as I will be having is not a big danger of spreading diseases because I will have the option of shutting down each tank and having only a sponge filter going for periods of time. That plus I will not be adding new fish to the system (they will be in isolation (hospital) tanks for a few weeks to help make sure that diseases do not get into the general population. The room will be heated so I will not have to have individual heaters (I will have a few for the isolation tanks if needed). Plus another plus is that instead of only having 20 gallons of water there will be a more constant water condition because of all of the tanks plus the filter sump and pipes holding the water will give a lot more volume.
When I say that I will not be bringing in fish I mean that I am hoping to sell a lot of fish so that I will not be having to but more or at least like store do on a weekly basis.

WOW!
Am sooo impressed and jealous!!
Instantantly did the math on my gallonage and have definitely decided to get rid of our couch! :D My wife immediately let me know that I go with it if it goes
Wake up time :( I guess I'd better learn more about what I have first.
Looks/sounds REAL great though :D

Maybe you have a room or some place that you can put your tanks so that cleaning them easier. Doing water changes with the Python water changer is simple if the tanks are all in one place (mine are in two places right now). When the fish room get set up I will still have some tanks upstairs for display but the bulk of the fishes will be in the fish room.

I am in the process of redoing everything right now.
Just shut down one of the 56 gal tanks and moved it out from the wall.
Drained 2 of the 90 gallon tanks and set them up side by side.
They are now circulating and tonight the stock in the 210 (which is reduced to half) will be divided between the two 90's.
Then the 210 gallon will be broke down and cleaned so it can become the main reef tank (sooner or later)
and for the third 90 gal (the one that is equipped to be a reef tank) is going to be made into a frag tank for frag swaps.... :HS
trying to do this while building a brand new 5 forum website (which I hope to launch in a few weeks)
and negotiating with a supplier to private label a line of organic fish food ....
and trying to get the classic car cruise in for July promoted.
and getting ready to start coordinating the second annual car show for October
and .... getting the promoting started for the addition of classic cars in the towns parade in December ...
I work harder than when I was going to a JOB 5 days a week!
