German Rams

I just found out that rams are in the cichlid family. We recently added two Gold Rams to our 55 gallon. They are lovely, friendly, and so cute. We also have a Krib in the tank, but they seem to really like one another. For so long when I thought if a cichlid I thought of ugly and mean brown things, which are the common Oscars I guess. I am learning so much about this LARGE group of fish that fall under the cichlid catagory.

I'm Oscarbartoni will reply soon; but, cichlids are the most colorful and various - IMO. I'm actually thinking of trading my c.knife for a baby red devil and t. oscar that my neighbor just bought, but doesn't like. Still researching it though. Lots of cichlids get along when they're young, but not as adults. There aren't too many "ugly brown ones" that I can think of! Nice tank, btw! It seems maxed out, but very stimulating! Good luck
