i was wanting to install a simple led "moon light" and was wondering if its ok to run it all night. Or should it just be for a few hours after the normal lights go off? Does it matter for the fish? They are used to total darkness all night long, after i go to bed. My question is because i have a timer that runs day outlets then night outlets, always one or the other is on, till the next one comes on.
