ok i want to know if this set up sounds suffcient. i will start with the display tank set up that i want to do.
to start i want to do 2 inches of black sand, with about 160 lbs of live rock in a 90 gallon tank. what fish i will do i have not yet decided.
the refugium is going to be a converted 30 gallon tank. i plan to have water flow from tank down through live rock rubble and into the first chamber where there will be a decent protein skimmer. after going through the baffles water will enter the refugium area. this area will have about 4 inches off fiji mud and more live rock. it will also have a hangopowerfilter, uv sterilizer, calcium reactor, phosban reactor, and 2 300 watt heaters and an 120 watt light. then the water will flow to the return. i wil have an auto top off and about 580 gph running through the refugium.
any suggestions would be great or just hearing that that is sufficient would also be good
