BMW 6-Series

Anyone have a BMW 6 series? I've been itching to buy one for awhile now and would like your perspective on this vehicle. I'm looking for experience and feedback, and model years to avoid. Am currently interested in the 88 to 89 years, mileage between 85k and 124k.

I'm familiar with their newer vehicles, having a 540iS, M5, X5 and recently sold 740iS.
