I have noticed several Illinois users on this site. I have requested permission from Aquariumpro to post a invite for you guys.
http://www.aquariumadvice.com
It has a usergroup forum entitled "South Central Illinois".
This is a place where people can discuss local issues, such as clubs and retailers. All are invited to join, you dont have to be from Illinios to join the site though. Once you register you can visit my usergroup and request to join.
Thanks again to Dave for allowing me to post this.

Thanks Dave for allowing MP to post a link to our site. We share a common interest in helping other aquarists out.
Ill be sure to add a link in our links section under the retailers.

For some reason I have been recieving emails that people are responding to this thread. However when I come to the forum to look at it not new post show up. It must be a problem from the site. So if I cant see the posts, I cant answer questions about the Illinois usergroup. So if you have a question, just pm me, or come to www.aquariumadvice.com to contact me. Sorry for any inconvience.

MP,
I got the same messages and was equily confused until I saw something on another reef site. I noticed the membername that was posting was the same as a membername on some other sites that was in effect spamming the web about some stupid celeberty nude photo site.
A mod or admin here promptly removed both posts that this member made and I hope also banned them.

I didn't just ban them, I removed them and lodged a complaint with MSN hotmail, who has their home address and phone number. MSN has promised to contact the member and get their email address removed from hotmail. They will never get another hotmail account. I then contacted the web site that the guy was working for and lodged a complaint with them. The guy just lost his account with them too, so he won't be getting any commisions for all his effort.
Geez. You would think people would learn that they can't get away with this. Email spam is bad enough and there's little one can do about that, but this type of spamming is easy to defeat and can get the person doing it in a lot of trouble. We log IP addresses and host-identifiers, so it is easy to take action against abuse on a web site.

Thanks dave,
Your like me and take your website's seriously.
Once I saw his spamming on other boards I went to mine and at least denyed him from being able to join under the same username he was using all over the web.
Thats about all I could have done given he had not hit my site yet.
