The Marineland Rite-Size Bonded Filter Pad is specially designed to prolong the life of filter media by reducing the accumulation of waste and dirt particles which can prematurely clog a filter. Resilient fibers trap and hold small dirt particles while the sleeve's porous, open-cell construction promotes water flow...without impairing overall filter performance. Cuts to fit any filter.

For Best Results: Make a cardboard or heavy paper template (pattern) which conforms to the interior dimensions of your filter box. Place the template on the filter pad. To ensure a snug fit, cut a section 1/4 inch larger than the template on all sides. Cut a second section in the same manner. Insert the sections (blue side up) with a layer of pure activated carbon between them.
